Downhill skiing is a brutal sport. After U.S. Olympian Jackie Wiles suffered a crash mere days ahead of the PyeongChang 2018 Olympic Winter Games, she began her four year comeback. In a sport like downhill skiing, the psychological impact of an 80 MPH crash can be the biggest hurdle.

We worked with Jackie to tell her incredible story, shooting over three days and nights in the Pacific Northwest shortly after her return from the Beijing 2022 Olympics. Fittingly, Jackie skied on camera with a recently torn patella. Her resolve is an inspiration.
