It was the hottest bike we’d ever seen. Leather seat and handlebars, wood fenders, and retro-styled dual-crossbar frame. People oggled when we rode it around the city. They didn’t even know the best part.
Equal parts beauty and brawn, each Faraday has electric motors and batteries built into its sleek form. The faster you pedal, the harder it pushes you. No buttons, controls, gizmos - just a bike, the same as you had when you were a kid - but this one boosts you as you ride.
Hills flattened. Destinations were arrive at without sweat. And we actually stopped at stop signs, because it was so easy to accelerate again.
With this photography we aimed to capture the glory, freedom, and fun we felt when riding. Then we asked Faraday to give us a couple bikes to keep. Success on the former, not on the latter.
